Maybe they are sun scalded. Rig up a little tent over one to see if that helps.

there's nothing left with out spots to protect.

Use to be people didn't buy feed for critters. They just grew enough garden for everyone. What they didn't eat the critters did.

today's pickings. also got a couple rabbits in the freezer. I habe a couple rooster that need to join them but I'm taking it easy today

well we just finished rearranging things to make room for more jars. I counted over 70 jars. most of them were pickles. there were 10 jars of pickled okra and a couple tomatoes, but mostly pickles.

I don't think I'll plant cucumbers next year

I never have luck with cucumbers. So far this year I got one horribly bitter cuke.
