Corn pollinates better if planted in a block of short rows rather than 2 or 3 long rows.

We moved 2 1/2 years ago to a new place, 1st garden-it all died. 2nd garden-half died. This is the 3rd year and things are looking up, but the peppers look like crap. :idunno Gardening is a learning experience right up until you can't take another step.

Sounds like a plan. Not sure where you are. Texas? In my part of Texas we have a really long growing season. You'd probably be ok to re-plant the corn if you wanted to.

Na i probably wont replant the corn. If i do it again ill till up 100x100 area out back and plant it there. That way we have sweet corn to eat and sell.

I think ill give it another week and if i dont see any tomatoes ill just try to buy some plants from a nursery. 3 rows was way too dang many anyhow! I just knew it was late and i needed seeds. Lol
Oh, H*** no, Once you start canning, there's no such thing as too many tomatoes!
Is it possible the corn seeds were within reach of birds?

Yay for free mulch! That stuff is so handy.

The rabbits look good. I like your set-up for them.
