It's good! Don't really know how to compare it to mutton. Might just be easier to say I like everything, lol! To me - goat has a very deep, rich taste. I usually cook it with wine, so that might be it, lol.

I've been told goat tastes like venison without the gaminess- do you think that's accurate? Can't wait to try it. Next year.

We had ramburger tacos tonight. A 2 1/2 year old ram, I thought he might be gamey, but no difference between him and the lambs.

You guys need to age your venison a little more. To me beef tastes gamey compared to venison. I'm always looking for does tho. Maybe that's it

Mebbe so. I haven't had anything but venison sausage in years. No hunter in the family anymore...:(

That's how I describe lamb. One thing I can tell ya, it's best medium rare

No we age it... Most of my state is buck only, so that's why! Only had a doe once, it was delicious!

well I know it's late as heck, but it's still 88 here so I decided to rake back the mulch and plant a few things. I planted a bed of radishes, carrots and a bed of turnips. I have a bunch more seeds but I don't wanna waste them if it doesn't work out.
