We're charging more for our produce this year. What with gas prices, seed prices, and having to plant some things more than once due to floods, hail, and freezes. It's so worth it though for fresh - not from another country - stuff. (See, I'm trying to be better and not name names).

We figured prices would be up. Farmers can't work for free and all. Doesn't help ME much, but I totally understand. Seeing the small baskets of tomatoes that were $3 last year now going for $5 did give me sufficient motivation to plant those last few starters I still have in pots :)

Yeh. I'm rather scowling at my sunless patio. On the other hand, a fan in that door keeps my whole apartment cool. The air on the patio is always a bit cold.

I've actually been really productive today. Did my grocery shopping, vacuumed the house, did laundry, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned my bedroom mostly. I have piles of books everywhere lol. I emptied and scrubbed the litter boxes. All I have left is to put away piles of containers in the kitchen which should take about 5 minutes, and clean the microwave.

Then I want to pick out a few sewing projects to work on this week. I need more skirts. I have a green and white plaid that was cut out for a dress before last summer's growth spurt (i'm 5 inches bigger in the hips now and 4 inches in the bust so it SO doesn't fit, but I think I can successfully turn it into a skirt).

Auntie!! Bring your camera, please! And any empty milk bottles.

love love!

I tore all the seams out of the skirt I have that is delicate material. So I'm turning it into a dress that's a bit grecian. Gathered at the bust (waist band) and adding a tie under bust to give it shape. :D
