They are!

And yams with blackened steak is phenomenal.

That's why I'm combining the two with the bleu cheese :D
Dh makes an amazing blackened steak. It requires opening all windows, turning on all the fans and pulling the detector batteries
He gets the pan smoking hot, butters and seasons the steak, then throws it in the pan. Gently of course ;)
He cooks just the outsides of the meat. The inside heats up, but it is very rare. :drool

I'm up, I'm showered. The critters are fed and watered. Too bad the bag I'm packing is for baseball practice.

Final exam in 4.5 hours!

:)

I have a couple quick errands to run first... I need to MAIL things (I am soooo bad about getting things elsewhere - seizures and then money got REALLY tight and then and then and then...)

But I need to mail stuff, buy fruit for class (8 frakkin hours and only 90 or so will actually be MY testing... 8 of us doing a 30 min lab solo each.... and we'll each be the patient once... so that is 3 hours of hanging out while the others test... and the 2 hour written will take about 30-45 min I'm guessing... and the rest of the time we're supposed to just hang out I think)....

So I'm bringing a lot of food (steak salad, apple & brie, nuts and dried fruit, yogurt, money for coffee, and tea bags (they have hot water).

And toys: coloring books & crayons, my Nook and charger and I'm adding music to it, cross stitch, my recent Saveur that I haven't read yet, the book for our test, and my sketch pad and pencils.

I'll so ace this. I'll actually be annoyed if I miss any questions. 100 question test. I can do this. Any betting pools on my score? LOL.

I'll be the first and bet 100%. Now you and I know everyone else will lose.

Good luck, stay focused, and remember to breath.

Thanks KC :) I've never had test or performance anxiety :D So I'm pretty unconcerned.

My first belly dance show in front of an audience went just fine. Well other than finishing and just leaving which apparently cracked Auntie up :p But no anxiety.

And I know everything I need to know so I couldn't be nervous about this test. My niece the elder passed the practice test.

Well I was. I bowed, I left. What else was I supposed to do. Everyone else looked kind of confused about where to go. Off stage, bye now!

;)
