Eat Fat, Lose Fat by Dr. Mary Enig and Sally Fallon is written around coconut oil and coconut products and is about losing weight.

I've found that when people eat right, their bodies tend to balance, whichever direction it needs to go. It only takes minor adjustments to a good lifestyle to gain or lose weight if needed.

I was listening to a woman talk last night at the school where I teach and she was referring to someone at her WW group who gained 3 pounds on her two week vacation. Her comment was that it would now take several weeks to get back on track.....huh? I know how to drop that in two weeks while stuffing my face! It involves butter!

I gained FIVE pounds on my week long vacation at my sisters. Fast food.
Blech. I was feeling ill for a while because of it too.

It's only been a couple days since I got back and I've lost four so far. I must be doing something right - or something definitely wrong. Not sure! Lol.

I've been told that I should weigh more, at 18, 5'10 and 135 pounds, but I figure that if I'm eating healthy (and I don't even eat as healthy as some here) and I weigh this much, then it is what I'm supposed to weigh.

My SIL does the whole weight watcher's thing, she lost weight but gained it back soon after, I would love to tell her about the Nourishing Traditions and other books, but she already thinks that my kombucha is gross and that low-fat diets are the way to go. :/

I was gonna speak up to that lady last night, but she was so enthralled with her WW group that I decided not to waste my energy. I sensed that it would not be heard by this person.

BB, a lot of guys fill out into their early to mid-twenties. You are on the thin side, but at your age, you are fine. I saw your picture once, after all... ;) Keep drinking that fine Nubian milk and eating that wonderful cheese!

All of my family is pretty slim anyaway, my mom weighs a whole 90 pounds.

Miraculously enough the SIL started letting her 3 y/o drink milk from our goats, he LOVES it. Whenever we visit we have to bring a jar with for him. She won't touch it though. Oh well, more for the rest of us!
