About Hand Pumps for the Well

I've been thinking about preparing for water shortage from any cause for a while but still haven't done any serious research

We have constructed a 30 foot pond, 5 feet deep and a settling pone 12 feet by 3 feet deep so if our needs are in the summer whe should be ok. It fills from the irrigation ditch and water purification plans are in place. We generally will use it for irrigating..

We have a 80 foot well with water available at about 30 feet.
The well has an on demand pump.

What do you think are our best options for a hand pump? Specific product?

I am glad you brought this up. We have wondered about an alternative way to get the water up from our well also.

Have you seen the Brady Shallow Well Kit that's carried at Home Depot and Ace Hardware?
