Mine aren't any bigger than my other hens at the moment but they are young and still growing. They get picked on some, they're quite docile. They must be laying, judging by how many eggs I'm getting, but I can't tell who laid what!

I think JG's are close to a year old before they begin laying.

I've gotten 7 eggs from 8 hens so unless one of my hens is laying 2 a day, one of my Jerseys is laying! Lol, they will be a year in June.

Wow, that's good. I still would like to get some of that gene pool in my flock.

Wow! Weird!

I guess I have boring chickens. I've never had a double yolker. Maybe when my Jerseys get big enough!

Now, that's strange, @waretrop.

Someone in my pond forum...where I also posted this egg...posted this just a little while ago. I'll have to have my camera ready when we crack this one.
