There are wonderful tee shirts in most equine catalogs-

I do not need another horse,
I do not need another horse.
I do not need another horse...............

My point is that at least chickens give you eggs and don't cost thousands of dollars- you could have a worse addiction.

Yes, but you can always stay at step one, as ETR suggests -- still have the problem, admit you have a problem, but not care. I'm not sure I'm helping. :/

I seriously want sumatras, but totally cannot justify them and will not get them; therefore I think *you* should get them instead of me.

There, did that help?

G'wan, you know you want to :)

You are right - the first step is admission. Whew - that was a big step.

Second step is being able to recognize the difference between the addiciton and the actual need for the Black Sumatras.

I am guessing that since they are only $5 each you must really need them and it is not part of the addiction. Therefore - I say you should snatch them up.

OH WAIT - you said talk you down. Ummmmmmmm. Can't do it.
QA does not have a problem! QA does not have a problem!

You know I thought of naming a roo "Stew" too. Wait -- A roo "Stew" too. Say that one 3 times fast!

But my point was that I thought it was some great original thought. I bet there are tons of roo's named Stew. :p

'Real' stew roos get renamed 'tasty' and then 'leftovers', of course ;)

You are right Pat.

That gets me thinking . . . wouldn't it be interesting to write a children's book called "Dinner with Stew"? It would start out: "Stew was a roo. . . ." I wonder if there is a market for such a book? :hu

Oh hey, that reminds me, I heard that roosters are the new zucchinis (reference Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, if you are not getting my drift) . . . I guess around here if you don't lock up your coop or lock the gate to your pasture, you may end up with a new rooster! The hypothesis is that lots of people are getting into chickens now, but they do not know what to do with the roosters they don't want.
