O.k. someone please tell me what is so alluring about sumatras? (I am not a sophisticated chicken owner like the likes of y'all!)

However, Sumataras ARE very beautiful birds....... Jett is at any rate.
Could you make more than $5 each on them at auction?

I don't understand it, but I find sumatras alluring too. I have no knowledge of the breed and no clue why. Jet is a nice looking roo.

Welllllllll, a decent breed quality pair easily sell for $25.........

Show Quality? Lots more.

And their tails are just gorgeous!!

AND, they're a light breed, mine free range very well, and they eat next to nothing compared to a dual breed.......

Hmmmm maybe I should rehome everyone except the Sumatras??? Save on my feed bill???

Re-homing your babies would be too stressful . . . it might lead to a bad relapse!!!

well, if it helps. . .we could make a circuit on Saturday and get the Sumatras then go east and get the NHRs for you with some BOs and Polish for me. Did you see the Frizzles for R?Some nice Anaconda ducks for $3.50 would resell at swap. LOL

Hmmm you've got me thinking, really you do!

But right now, I'd only be able to get 2 Sumatras, will have to skip on the NHRs, but the ducks would resell for a pretty penny at the swap!

E wouldn't need to know anything until after it was done! We'd have to take at least the baby, though!
