Mmmmmm...Lamb Chops!
It is always nicer when they give you a reason to send them off to freezer camp!
for Purl!

That's the funny thing. I kept him so long in order for him to breed my southdown ewe, Darla. He failed. So no babies for him.glenolam said:Those tears will turn to even bigger tears of joy when his lambs make it into the world!
Wow, I hope everything goes well. Sounds like quite a situation. will this affect her if bred again, or will it heal sufficiently so she can be bred again? She's now out there wondering what the eff happened to her. Poor girl. I hope she lambs soon. I'm going to be on diligent lamb watch until she does, because I'm going to have to cut the stitch for her to be able to lamb, or she'll seriously tear her vulva.
Well I'm not sure if it'll affect her in the future or not. It's possible. I've only dealt with one prolapse before, and that was on a 10 year old ewe. Plus it was very small compared to Purl's. Purl is only 3, so I really hope it won't be an issue in the future. I'm going to email her breeder and talk to them about it.miss_thenorth said:Wow, I hope everything goes well.
