Well my 18 year old air compressor has given up the ghost. I need that thing like a 3rd thumb. I put in a new check valve and it ran fine for a few days. Then it would only charge up to 75lbs. Last night I tore into the pump, what a train wreck... And parts are obsolete. Crossing my fingers for a bush fix with gasket sealer and a new head bolt. If my "Billy" fix doesn't work then I must purchase a new one :(. But after 18 years I suspect i got my money's worth out of it... IDK...

That's a good long life if you were using it pretty regularly :). I could use one, but I don't have the extra cash

It's far worse than that... It starts and runs but will only get to 60lbs. The ring on the piston is shot (oil-less) and the head gasket is all tore up. Parts are obsolete, it's 18 years old... I think I got my money's worth out of it.

I've go plans for the tank to become the firebox when I build my smoke house.
