Not sure if it is legal or not.....Is baiting bears a thing there? Over here, it's vogue to get bulk day-old donuts from bakeries to feed bears.

How are you today? It is truly surreal.... to go from so blind to being able to see!
I wake up at night and can see the lines on the boards on the ceiling!
Wild!
I would really like to find a book on recognising mushrooms. I'm sure I'm passing by mushrooms around here but don't know the difference from a toadstool or a mushroomI like eating all of the mushrooms in the puffball category. Oddly though, I only saw maybe 2 this year. No idea why.
Also, my tiny morel patch didn't fruit (but it doesn't fruit every year... so no real surprise).
There are a bunch of "chicken of the woods" mushrooms around, but I am not fond of them.
So, LOTS of mushrooms this year, but not the ones I wanted!
As to learning to forage... maybe ask around. Sometimes they have foraging classes at a local park or historical society group....
How are you today?
It's been almost a year since I last wrote in here, doesn't time fly.
I hope you're still seeing well.
My brother had one of his eyes successfully done and couldn't believe the colours he can now see.

And your snow life is/will last another 4 months???
It's pretty. It's yours. Obviously you are acclimated.
