I have heard of that cleanse. But its been years!Bethanial said:Can't help with the actual implementation, but sounds like what I've heard called "The Daniel Diet," based on when Daniel and his friends didn't eat meat/drink wine like all the other king's(?) men after they had been captured and taken to Babylon.
Also, I remember watching a program on Discovery Health (I think, it's been a couple years), but the premise was that the gathered up maybe 10 people, and they actually lived in an exhibit at a zoo (complete with "Don't Feed The Humans" signs! ) and fed them a totally raw vegetable diet. Totally monitored by docs, but diabetics no longer needed insulin, those with high blood pressure didn't need their meds anymore, everybody lost weight, etc. The only exception to raw/natural was everybody had to eat one brined olive everyday for the salt. The people also commented on how, ummmm, noisy and smelly their bodies became with all that natural fiber going on.
I will check it out and see how it stacks up.
