It is so cool to see someone with such neat skills. I wish I knew how to do stuff like that! I'm in no way a gear head... I just don't get mechanical things very well.

I don't have a problem doing the mechanical end or the "dirty" work of cutting,grinding,welding, on a project like this, but I sorely lack the painting skills and the tools/equipment required to paint. THAT is where good friendships come into play! My best buddy is one of THE best automotive painters I have ever met, and he does it WITHOUT a paint booth! Just wait until you see the finished product and you'll see what I mean. The photos won't do his work justice, I promise.

Here is the new fender, painted, wet sanded and buffed, ready to be installed. Notice how clean and straight the light reflections are. I told you this guy was good.

The new front bumper cover, with the grill installed. I ordered a new grill after I discovered this one would not clean up as nice as I would have liked.

Here is the hood, painted, and in the process of being wet sanded. It will then get buffed, and will end up as shiny as the front fender and the rest of the car. Ya gotta make the parts pretty(paint) then ugly(wet sand then buff) so that the true beauty comes out. Weird, eh??
