Absolutely right, Twiceshy. Seeing the world in black and white, in absolutes, doesn't make for much understanding between peoples. I've noticed when I hear "Well, I just believe..." the word just is the dangerous word. We'll be hearing about passion and not reason.

twiceshy, I agree with you but you have to look at it from another way. If we teach them the lines are gray, what about rules? Rules are not gray, they are black and white. The speed limit is 25. Not around 25. In the same sense, murder = not good. Most people don't get it until someone close has passed. We are raising our children with video games that give you bonus points if kill a couple extra people. Another thing children should be taught is that there are no "do overs". Life is life-plain and simple. Once taken it can't be returned. I am an avid hunter, and I will admit that after it's all said and done, I have a moment with god if you know what I mean. One more thing about life that is under taught. Respect. Very few crimes would ever be committed if there was respect, morals, and please some more courtesy. Show some manners. Everyone will love you for it. That's my rant about our world.
