I second the unisom and B6 :) In Canada, we have a drug called Diclectin that can be prescribed for morning sickness and all it is unisom and vitamin B6. I had terrible MS and by the middle of the 2nd trimester I caved and got the prescription so I could eat well. It works great!

In the early days I ate lots of dried apricots and saltines, and I also found it handy to keep a handkerchief with a drop of aromatherapy oil on it for a quick sniff when I was feeling particularly queasy. Peppermint worked for me, or a sniff of fresh lemon too.

Congrats Grandma! And big hugs to your daughter - morning sickness is such a misnomer!
