Glad my goaties aren't home yet.... it's not too bad out in the shade but I'd be worried about them in the heat. Since they still live next door to a veterinary clinic they're better off for the moment!

Overcast again today. Weatherunderground says its supposed to get to 79 but I don't think so. I'm sick of the lack of nice weather. Can you believe that I can't put out my plants in the garden yet? I"m supposed to wait until it gets up to 50 at nite, and last nite and the one before it got down to 41. sheesh....

Oh, and btw, I thought you were talking about a HOT FLASH!!!

Warm and breezy here.

Is this heat going to last for you guys the whole summer? Or does it come and go? Is it torture because it's humid?

Send some of that heat this way.

It should get way up to about 63 today!

It's b-e-a-utiful here today, about 74F (22C), and supposed to be in the 70's all week. We got the pool opened up, and have been in it several times.

I got the garden planted, (YAY!!), and ran out of room. Hubby says he will help me build a new raised bed next week.

Remarkably not-so-bad here in Georgia. Of course, I've been working inside most of the day canning stuff & doing laundry, so I've been "glowing" anyway. Ya get kinda used to the miserable humidity after a while around here, I think. If it's below 90 degrees and humidity is below 80% or there's a breeze, that's nice weather.

It was 51 and cloudy today while I did my yard work. :hide I was in jeans and my coat the whole time! I'm lighting the wood stove as we speak!

Don't worry, I did my time--30+ years in TX where by this time of year it is pushing the 100's. I feel for y'all!! :(

OMGoodness--I looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow--in the afternoon, it's going to be 90F and it will feel like 99.

I really don want to have to put my air conditioning on, but i think I might have to bite the bullet on this one.

good thing is the rest of the week will be in the 70's (translated to Fahrenheit since I know most of you are american)
