NO no no no no!! I can't be doing this! :barnie Maybe this tired old body is just catching up on some rest...I can understand that, but 8 am!?? I've been having the opposite problem, waking up early. I roll out of bed, and DH is still sleeping...makes me wanna smack him awake! :p

Just kidding, I don't really wanna do that, ok well, maybe a little. I guess if I'm up I want him up :p

I find that the older I get the harder it is to get up. I have always been an early riser. I woke up between 4:30 and 5 every morning. I need 30 minutes of silence and a cup of coffee before I can deal with my day. About 5 years ago it started. The occasional 5:30 wake up time which gradually moved to a daily 5:30 wake up time. Now I have trouble getting up to a clock at 6:30. If I don't set the clock I will stay in bed until 7 or 8. I hate alarm clocks. They make me in a bad mood. LOL I guess I just need more rest than I use to. Getting old is not for sissy's.

aint that right! man how can he sleep with all the going's on!!! this morning the kittens were in bounce around over drive, my old lady cat was screaming at the top of her lungs, then the guineas started screaming like monkeys FOR HEAVENS SAKES HOW CAN HE NOT HEAR ALL THIS?!?!!?

the only problem i have is that since it gets light later the kitten alarm goes off later, so i get up later.. but man these cool nights are a dream within a dream!

Well we are not experiencing cool nights...still leaning on the AC. :/

Now that school has started I am getting up about an hour earlier than I do in the summer and after only a week it is catching up to me! I am wiped out and having trouble waking up!

:gig

He's up. He's on the poo list today, too. I just really wanna :smack

Oh yea, I love him....but today I wanna show it by throttling the crap out of him! :somad

Maybe later I'll feel like hugging him.

We go to bed around 10pm and I'm up around 6-7 am. The kids, that's a different story....They get up in the middle of the night and sneak cookies while we're sleeping! :smack

I wish I could sleep later....my daughter is up at the crack of dawn! Sometimes I make her lay back down in bed with me just so I can get another 1/2 hour of sleep before I have to get up and feed/water everyone.

Justusnak- I tend to that too but my snooze time is limited by the fact my dog sleeps in my bedroom- since there is a certain point at which her instance means I'll be getting up to clean up the mess or simply getting up now, I rarely sleep too long.

Ahh sleep. I remember that. I used to be able to sleep in and laze around all day. I used to wonder about all of those old fogeys that were up at 4 am puttering around. :idunno

Well I have arrived. Between getting up about 3 or 4 times in the night to go potty and my arthritic body crunching and throbbing from laying in the same position for more than a couple of hours - I am that old fogey! :old

If I am in bed past 7 am I can't move for the next three hours. Usually I go to bed about 11 or 12 and wake up (other than potty runs) at about 5:30 or 6. Of course it takes me another hour or so before I can actually WALK! :tongue
