Yes, I hugged him.

But only after I ranted about things with a friend and only after my mother came to visit and I let her have it about her husband (my step dad) and his lack of consideration for other (she whole heartedly agreed).

I'm on a roll today! :gig

But yes, I hugged my hubby. I even gave him a kiss!

And in 2 more hours, I get to go to bed! :ya

It's been a long, cranky day for me. :hide

WOW was I sore! :tongue to getting old.

No alarm clock needed if you put the chicken coop near your bedroom window. My hens wake up at 6:50 on the dot. Until Daylight savings that is. :(

You mean I can sleep in beginning November 1 ?!?

I am up every morning early, I miss sleeping in on the weekends (you know...like 7-7:30!) but I am up to let my girls out at 6:30 every morning.

I have a full spectrum inflorescent light on a timer that switches on at 5:30 am in my bedroom. One day I'd like to buy the unit that comes on gradually and is less jarring. My light wakes me and I feel energized when I leave for work as the sun is just rising. It prevents oversleeping by fooling me into thinking it is spring.

After spending at least 2 full months waking up every 10 minutes having "power surges" (you might call them hot flashes or night sweats), I am finally sleeping ALMOST all the way through the night again (providing my epileptic Bulldog is having a good night and someone remembered to put the cat outside before we went to bed) and you'd better believe it's hard to get up in the morning when my alarm goes off at 2:30am. I long for the days of cooler climates where I've lived, when I could light a fire in the wood stove and layer soft cozy blankets and quilts on the bed. We're still barely able to cover up with a bed sheet (our lowest nighttime temps have been in the 70's and 80's) and we celebrate when daytime temps dip below 100!

Well, I meant that when the time changes, they'll be getting up an hour earlier than usual according to the clock. Although the sunrises will be slowly getting later again after the time change...
