I woke up cuz DH was jamming out to Cajun music. I swear I felt like I was 7 years old and at my grandparents house. I felt like coming out of the room and saying, “Shouldn’t I be smelling bacon frying and coffee brewing?” Well I did have the coffee. Omg he has been busy!! I was tempted to take a picture of the table to ask if anyone has a messier table than me 
. He bought shallots, beets and broccoli from a local man yesterday and he has been chopping stuff up. Let me just tell y’all, there is enough chopped onions all over the table that I am putting them in a small bag for my next meal. The sink was full of dishes, knives, leaves from the beets. But I was talking to my inner child, explaining HOW and WHY the kitchen is a mess and I just dealt with it. I mean we were out of onion tops because of the HHC batch. I have been curious about it but I haven’t tried it because of the gout. I heard it was good. Maybe just a half sandwich. Well if DH hadn’t been making this mess I would have had to chop up this stuff. He wants to pickle the beets. I just like beets 
. But I guess I can mix the vinegar and water and add pickling spices for at least one quart. I once had been cleaning the coffee pot and I had it really clean but I did another run through with vinegar and water to just fill 2 hot jars that I had some small okra in.
The chickens are eating the grass down to the ground in the front yard. I hear a child. I think it’s the little boy next door talking to DH, like usual. He is planting the onion bulbs in flower pots and putting them on the front porch area. Gardening is gardening!!! He kills himself trying to make rows and most of the vegetables we eat come out of the gutter planter and pots. If he can grow food like that I hope he is satisfied.

Only problem is I can’t really eat much of the coon because of the gout. Maybe just mess up some rice with the gravy it makes. And have a side with salad. I know we’ll have enough onions for the dish for sure.
Coming back from DH’s appointment. The NP wants him to continue on MORE antibiotics and didn’t want to remove the sutures until next week. I don’t blame her. I wouldn’t have either. And she threw away the ace wrap!! But she gave me an extra one on top of the wrap they put on him. I told her how much trouble I had finding a wrap. I promise you I was tempted to fish it out of the garbage but I figured she would check afterwards. But I have a pack of 4 headed to me any second. How is this item not at every drugstore? Used to be everyone had this in their medicine cabinet. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone just throw an ace wrap away in my life and I am a nurse 
. I’m officially freaked out!!

I have several ace here....BUT I use the stick-to-self wraps if one needed. Also, I buy at the feed store, way less $$ than same at pharm. My advantage plan lets me buy with my OTC card, too.

Yep - the bandage doesn't know if it's on a goat or a human. Works the same for both, lol!

They're considered disposable, like everything else. I grab them at the dollar store periodically to add to my stash.How is this item not at every drugstore? Used to be everyone had this in their medicine cabinet. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone just throw an ace wrap away in my life and I am a nurse
I am having a hard time sourcing reusable suture needles.
