I just got out my "bacon ends" aka thick slabs of bacon fresh (frozen) from the butcher. Are you with me so far? We are talking gold here.

Well as I was slicing through a slab, one end jumped out and landed on the floor. :barnie

Now what? (We have indoor-outdoor St. Bernards here.)

What's the issue? Brush off most of the fur after you get it out of the dog's mouths and finish slicing.

What's the catastrophe? i wouldn't even think twice about it. Ok, may be if company was over. Depending on who it was. but even so I would just wash it off and carry on. :D

Bacon is thoroughly cooked. I'd pull it from the dog's mouth, cook it, and eat it without a second thought! :D

(Mail it right to me if you don't agree....)
