Slightly off meat. Chicken will be tossed. I tried to cook it up curry style, but it still tasted off, regardless of whether or not it was my imagination. Beef is better in that regard. It "ages" well, I think, and with a good rinse in warm water, it's usually fine. Pork sorta like beef, if it only smells slightly (a good rinse with hot water till non slimey and then cooked in a spicy sauce), but tossed like chicken if it's ponging really bad.

I didn't read that it was in the food part of the forum and I thought -I didn't know Abi had chickens, wonder what the chicken did? Make too much noise and bother the neighbors?

I have to agree....every time I see the title of this thread, I think of the latest naughtiness my chickens got into. Yesterday it was the black hen in my garden, digging up my little baby onions.

Bad chicken. Very bad chicken.
