Glad it seems to have worked out!
We've got neighbors who have an electric fence. They used let their two labs out when they'd go out on errands during the day. As soon as they leave the dogs would start barking. One of the dogs runs through the fence constantly. You'd think when they come home and find the dog tied to their back porch they'd figure out something was wrong. We left several notes about the barking and escaping before it stopped. They're selling their house.
The day I brought the goats home our neighbors college age girls had some friends camp out in the backyard. Now, they knew full well about George the rooster. But the goats were a surprise. And Donki the nubian had a LOT to say those first few days!
