I have about 200 pics taken with my phone. Out of those, 190 of them are VERY accurate as to location. There were a couple of days, 7 pics taken one day, that are about a half a city block off. And 3 pics taken on a different day are about 7 miles off. That one is weird. But the rest ... you can tell where they were taken.

I hadn't honestly thought about the issues of posting them ... and that info being included. I only recently found out by accident that my phone was keeping up with that information. The older versions didn't (and mine is not the newest version).

It's hard for me to imagine. This phone was a gift. My previous phone cost $10 and was about 5 years old ... it didn't text or take pics or ANYthing, so I'm not yet used to all this either.

Oh, and I meant to mention .... there is an ap you can get that will "find" your phone. You can locate your phone with another phone.

I thought there must be some serious privacy issues with that. Can I "find" my brother's phone anytime I want to? Or someone else's? Can someone find mine?

Well, you have to install the ap in order to be found. (Using that particular ap at least.) And you have a privacy code that is to be entered from someone else's phone in order to "find" yours.

But wow ... basically, if you have one of those phones, it's possible to find out where your phone is at any time. That's actually kind of scary. And I guess that's true of any kind of GPS device?
