That is so sad...so she doesn't care if the billy goat dies? She'll sell him alone, but not the does, knowing full well "goats will die if isolated." Good grief.

I am not sure I believe they will die if there is no other goat with which to associate. I have seen a farm with only one goat but many horses, some dogs and a few cats. The goat was thriving and eating everything it could get into her mouth. (her name is Echo).
What is interesting is that Echo lives in Fredericksburg, VA about 1/10 mile from my home there. Hmmm, I'll have to call my friend Cliff and find out who is selling mixed sheep/goat babies.
I guess Billie's aren't all that particular about "preservation of the species."
