Your not going with Aly are you?? That could mean trouble!!! ;)
Unfortunately, we probably will be together. :D Maybe if I spend my time pulling her away from buying things she doesn't need, I'll miss bidding on things I don't need.

I really need to downsize some of my poultry and rabbits.

It is easy to decide to sell the rabbits that failed to mother their litters as well as the Flemish with no mate.

Not so easy is to choose what poultry should go. I just have too many breeds. Pairs and trios of this and that really don't get me enough quality to work with and profit from. So, I'm looking at a trip to Rogers Auction this Friday to do some selling.

Pray I don't bring anything home. LOL :/
Good luck with that! You can do it!!

I was SO proud of myself! :clap :weee I went to the Flea market and made it down "critter row" as I call it TWICE and did not bring anyone home!!! Though, it was REALLY tough leaving that cute goat buckling, the Peacock, and that beautiful pheasant pair behind.

Hey Keljonma, here are some old ladies dust bathing. This was a week or so ago (too muddy now). You'll see Mary, Betty, and Rachel with a couple Ameruacana all in one hole in my raised garden box. :) Looks like I need to add dirt for planting.

Even as chicks, Mary and Betty were BFF! We used to catch them doing "mirror scenes" from the Patty Duke show! ;) They are looking very well.

:thumbsup

Keljonma, good talking to you, but sorry I missed your visit. I'm SOOO sorry you saw my place in such a mess. I haven't done spring cleaning yet and the rain/mud situation has been awful. The runs truly stink. And to think you had to touch a wagon load of rabbit poo. :sick

If we'd only get a weekend of good weather, I might get caught up with the cleaning.

And, yes, that hen was dead. She was a 2-year-old BO that loved to go broody. Not sure what took her as there was no sign of trouble. :/

So any other SS folks who want to drop in, just give me a month to clean up first. :D

Lovely day we are having now, but of course I'm stuck inside and chained to a desk. More rain predicted for this weekend, though. :he

We had a good visit with your mom and your animals. And it was good to talk to you on the phone. I ain't no city girl and am used to a little poo in my life. :)

Sorry about your Buff Orp. All the other birds were looking good.... you have a very friendly and chatty barred rock in the pullet hoop house. And we saw 4 eggs!

Maybe I'll get to see you next month.....

My house is always a mess! It seems like I just can't get caught up, so don't feel bad. Heck, I STILL have my Christmas tree up! (Good thing it's artificial)

There is a local family and a local diner that decorate their trees for each holiday; both are artificial trees. At the diner last week, the tree was covered in small multi-colored plastic eggs and colorful garland.

I guess that way you don't have to worry about taking it down and putting it back up every year?! Not for me thanks..... :hu
