Oops, Bee, Christians never did animal sacrifices. It was the pre-Christian era, the ancient Israelites. Jesus and his family did offer sacrifices as faithful Jews, as did his disciples, until his death. Then as Christians, his disciples stopped sacrificing, as his sacrifice was the final one, animal sacrifices were no longer needed. Until that point, his followers were faithful Jews, but after his death, they were no longer under the Law, and no longer participated in the animal sacrifices as Christians.

Just my area of real expertise! ;) :D

In ancient times yes, Pagans did, humans and animals probably. Modern times? No.
I think a lot of religions did that sort of thing, I never did get that. Lol.

If brown horse had posted that one ... then I would have peed myself. You know her signature is "less is more"! :gig

I have actually seen that poor bird before. He is the subject of a genetic experiment - to breed a bird with less feathers. I think they succeeded!

Dang I should have thought of that...I am sure Bee would have wet herself (seems to be the goal around here lately!)

It is a gross and sad critter huh? I wonder if you have to put a sweater on it on cool days?
