Its sort of like kids singing "Ninety-nine Bottles of Beer" on a bus trip until the bus driver has to yell for them to stop. Pointless and juvenile, to say the least. Also weird just how many folks participate....... :idunno
 
Heh, I remember those types of song on the way to the camps I was sent to. And then all those annoying camp songs that I wouldn't sing. Then they sent me to the camp counselor because of that. :/
 
Those threads are allowed because they are harmless (yes, mindless, too!) fun for those who enjoy that kind of thing, and when they get big enough, Rob just deletes them. I don't participate in them, but lots of them do, they don't bother me. If you don't care for them then just don't bother with them. Different strokes for different folks.

I came to sit on your porch Bee...it's raining again on mine. You got some coffe on, I sure could use a cup or two right now...got a craving:>) You sound like you could use a break and have a cup with me :P

I think the BYC-ers also like to see how high they get before someone gets mad and demands the thread to be closed too. There are some very opinionated, passionate folks over there! Sometimes I just want to interrupt a thread and simply type, "PEACE, MAN!" Whew, my blood pressure shoots up when I stumble onto a nice looking thread and find out that everyone is yelling. (There should be a warning in the thread title: Warning this thread sounds interesting, but we are really yelling.)

I get a kick out of the online poultry shows and random ramblings. I had no idea about simply counting posts on a thread until they close. :hu Where are those located? Worth a snoop?
