Lots of arnica. I was in a car accident last, at a stop light at the bottom of an overpass, the guy behind was in lala land and didn't stop, I went into a mustang ahead of me. I did see him coming so I tensed, and after the wreck I could barely move, my back was so bad. They gave me vicodin, my those made me sick so I took loads of arnica pills.

After the draft mule used my foot for a launch ramp over a wall (no lie, ugh) I took lots of arnica and my trainer slathered me with it too.

When I asked my doctor about the fistful of vitamins and minerals that I was taking to regain health after radiation therapy, I was expecting a lecture on taking all those supplements. But you know what he said? "Add zinc, for healing." I did, and it helped.

When I had my accident (was rear ended) my prblems didn't reall y start till about 6 weeks later, when I finally ended up getting an MRI. I found out I had bone spurs in my neck, and a bulging disc, which is apparently pretty common. Watch out for that, catch them early and the rehab helps ALOT. I agree with holding off on insurance waivers, I now have degenerative disc disease from this accident.

As you probably guessed from the subject, I was in a car accident today. Someone swerved in front of me in the highway, so I plowed into them headfirst. Unfortunately, my trusty little Hyundai is no longer, but it definitely did it's job, as I am already back at home after a stop off in the ER & a whole bunch of Xrays. :)

Anyway, I got the usual muscle relaxer & pain med. What else can I do/take to help my muscles heal? I feel like I went a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson, and this is only a couple of hours after the accident. I'm a little nervous about how I'm going to feel in the morning. I actually happen to have a 3 day weekend, so I'm going to be able to take it easy (DH even said he'd weed the garden for me!). Any suggestions you can give would be MUCH appreciated!
Arnica is used in trauma injuries. I know this is an old thread, so it's probably too late to help you, but maybe another person can find some help with it.
