Go sourdough!

I have preheated the oven before with things still in the oven for one reason or another. It happens. But my sourdough is usually in a white bowl and you can see it from outside the oven, so I haven't had a problem remembering that it is in the oven. When it is in there, the house usually smells yeasty too, which is another reminder.

If I used a sticky note, my husband wouldn't probably see the sticky note either. I will just have to be careful to remember to get the starter out of the oven if he will be cooking.

I think he fried the starter. Luckily it was just the portion I set aside to cook with.
