That is so awesome. I am so glad you guys will have the security of a stuffed freezer.
We are too! Now I am scratching my head and wondering where we will put the Red Salmon after we go dip netting...

After I take my nap, I will be going through all three freezers. Had not planned on needing to do that until this fall!
Have a bunch of chicken stuff that I will likely feed sooner then anticipated to the flock.

We are so thankful. DH's job ends thursday. No bears this season. Enough guide trips have been booked for July to make ends meet, with many more expected, and now the freezers will be too full. We will need to pass on some of this meat asap.
Our Lord does indeed provide! :D

You might need to smoke and dry that salmon. ;)

So after inventorying and organizing all three freezers, I have decided to can last years meat.
SIL is sending down her canner and grinder with the inlaws on Friday.
We will do all the grinding on Saturday, and then starting canning on Monday.

Ready made stew meat :drool

We might skip dip netting, as I found enough fish to get by, after we do basic local red fishing in July.

Dh mentioned to me that its looking like the Lord has big plans for him this fall with regards to work, as the moose has been given to us already.

Today is DH's last day at work. Saturday marks the first of many guide trips this month.
His boss just called, and asked if I knew what size his Simms guide jacket is.
He is getting him a brand new one as a thank you for the years of work!
Those jackets are the best out there for outdoor gear!

Here's to a new chapter in our lives!

hehe! This means I can have the old jacket ;)
