If you use a woodstove for heat, you can sweep, vacuum, dust and mop 5 times per day, and you will still have dust and grime on the floor and every other surface

We do use an Ionizer/ozone air purifier, so at least its not floating in the air

I feel your pain. This is our first wood stove in this house and it makes a bigger mess than the chicks I don't care though, my toes are toasty toasty warm and THIS fuel is FREE!

And that's what's most important!

Wow, I just saw this post on the moose vs car. How scary. We lived in Anchorage for 6 yrs...and I was always scared of just that happening. I drove to Fairbanks for work, once a month. Of course I drove a full size conversion van, so the impact would not have been as bad as in your car....but, I was always watching for those bigguns! Even in my tall van...I had one on the roadway I stopped and it just stood there looking in the windshield...we were eye to eye. I actually met a gal while up there, she was in a wheelchair from a moose vs car accident. So sad, she was so young ( in her 20's) So glad to hear you all are OK, for the most part.

Granted, I do have two cats, and one broody hen in here as well.

Are you saying to use the cats and the hen to do the dusting with?

Hey that must be why Inky always has dust bunnies along his black tail. He's trying to help keep the dust down in the house. That cat needs a raise.
