Oh my. I hate house fires. I lost friends when someone set their house on fire and killed a family of 3. I knew the son all my life.

Ar fires more common there in the winter because of the stoves and heater use? Or is this just a freak coincidence?

Did you get the pipe fixed? Those are some cold temps, I hope you are keeping warm!

Pipe is fixed, so now we can leave the house as needed, and the furnace can run as needed.
Otherwise, the woodstove is at 100%.
It has warmed up a bit. 13 below when we got up

ETA My hubby did the fixing. SO proud of him! He is getting handier and handier
