We were in Alaska in June so we didn't get to see end of the season veggies. We got to place bets on the final weight of the largest cabbage someone grew. They emailed pics when it was harvested. You could hollow that thing out for a small family to live in!!

I did those yellow beets last year and they were wonderful. Grew very well for me. I can't wait to see how yours do.

TanksHill- Looks like you have some beautiful raised beds!

BB- Wow! I couldn't even imagine a growing season like that. 20hrs of daylight......frost in May....snow in Septemeber....it would be like living on the moon for me. :lol: But my DH would love it. He's into all the Alaska shows right now and is studying to be a small plane mechanic and pilot so he thinks he would make it big there :lol:
