My D1 has a house on a hill and the front of it faces north. She has a three season porch, which is made up totally of sliding windows and patio type doors on that side now. It has made a world of difference on the drafts and added a nice bit of living space as well.

I love incubating! I don't get all high tech, though - but there's something about candling them and watching them grow from nothing to a black dot to a full out chick/duckling that just gets to me.

I have chick eggs due to hatch in a week - I can't wait!

Just checked out your journal. Beautiful house and I have now seen the wood stove of my dreams. Wood stove food tastes wonderful.
