Now THAT my friend, is a HOUSE! :thumbsup

Details on how you fastened the logs together? How long did you let the wood cure before/after you cut it?

Thanks, everyone, for the great reveiws. It has been so much work to get this far.
We did what I think is called stacking the logs.We cut the trees, yellow poplar, and let them cure about a year before we started sawing them.We used only the heart or center of the tree for our logs.We then stacked them and let them cure for another year.We had to keep watch of them and sometimes re-stack them to keep them straight. We used a type of weather stripping between the logs as we put them up plus we used a wood adhesvise. We then screwed them together with special 12-15 inch screws.I have pictures of most of the progress as we went along.I'll try to get a few more up soon.
