Forgot to add hard boiled eggs. I usually throw one in his lunch several times a week if it feels low in protein. And he usually gets a piece of uncured bacon or two with his breakfast. If I'm out of waffles he gets scrambled eggs or a flax meal pancake.

I am not a raw food advocate. Cooking actually makes many more vitamins and minerals bioavailable.

If hubby is eating commercial dressing, there is lots of junk hidden in that. High fructose corn syrup, soy oil, corn derivatives, etc.... :sick

One thing I have an intolerance to along with wheat that most people don't think of is cotton seed oil. Cotton seed oil could be in both daughter's treats and hubby's dressing.

The thing with the salads being great and then issues cropping up, is it takes time to the gut to become damaged.
I would test eating a moderate amount of animal protein with steamed veges for awhile.

Lets see, you mention your daughter can't have dairy, so it would stand to reason that is the likely cause for your son.
Additionally, you mention eating more corn.
Unless you are taking the time to make properly prepared lime soaked GMO free corn products, I would suspect it is causing issues as well.

Have you looked into doing GAPS at all?
Everything you mention raises flags for leaky gut.

BB....I think I have confused you :)

It is my Hubby and DD, and they both eat dairy. I don't think we eat enough corn tortillas to cause any reaction (periods of time where they are once a week to less than once a month) although anything is worth considering.

Never heard of GAPS.

:th Sorry  I am doing to many things this morning, and getting mixed up!

GAPS is a way to heal the gut.
