Out to pasture
Is it this years seeds they tested? I bought lots of corn seed from them last year and still have plenty left. I also saved seed from the ones I grew last year. No one near us grew corn, so I feel fairly good about it not being contaminated.Bubblingbrooks said:And as an FYI, Baker Creek tested allt heir heritage corn seed, and ALL of it is tainted with GMO.
They feel for certain that no corn is safe anymore.
Organic label or not.
I am thinking about no longer even buying the nixtimaled Masa Harina anymore.
Corn seed is good for 4 years, so I will be sure to rotate my seed.
I wish I could get mine tested, but I am sure it will cost money that I don't have. So I will just try to keep mine going and maybe I will be able to get it tested some time in the future.
