does it whip up like cream?

I want some whipped cream in my coffee and that's all I have

didn't want to open it and waste it if it doesn't

I think it would, it is about as thick as whole milk (I use Meyenberg brand). I just used a can today and it worked wonderful in the dish I was using it for. You are right it is too expensive to waste.

IME, the canned goat milk is much thinner than heavy cream for whipping. I just don't see it whipping up.

IMO canned goat milk tastes too goatie in coffee. I think I wouldn't mind it in hot cocoa or something sweet like that...as freemotion drinks her fresh goat milk. Then again fresh goats milk may be yummy in coffee. (I've never had fresh goat's milk.)

It only seems to get "goatie" if it is heated or if it is very old and then heated. I don't really taste it....but I can come in from the barn stinking to high heaven and not notice it!!!
