Does the burner size have to match the diameter of the canner? The largest burner on my glass top stove is 10", and the Presto 23 is 14". I'm thinking that won't work - right?
Also, is a pressure canner different than a pressure cooker?
Oh, and how much water does a pressure canner use?
Now you guys have me thinking about canning - something I thought I'd never do again after my first attempt last year with the boiling water bath salsa fiasco!
