what you need to make is cajuuuuuuuuuun boiled peanuts once you have those you will never ever ever have regular boiled peanuts again

we have a store here that sells them buy the 10lb bags and even my 3 year old is addicted

being from the south we love our cajun boiled peanuts and they are great in the winter especially when you have a cold cause they will clear up a sinus problem before you can swallow the first peanut

Mmmm :drool

Oh yes, Cayenne powder or red pepper flakes, chopped peppers, whatever you have pretty much, little garlic (ok a LOT) I also like crushed peppercorns (the multi-colored ones) I crush a teaspoon or so of 'corns not too fine, but more than normal "cracked" pepper. The longer you cook them, the hotter they get.
