Almost Self-Reliant
Ohhhh, Peaches. Yup, here in Indiana, the peaches are ready. I have a friend who has the most amazeing peach tree in her yard...and her family hates peaches! So, this means, I get peaches...tons and tons of peaches....for FREE!!!!! 
Her and I are makeing the plans now for me to get them. I will be canning peaches here soon, and I will send a few pints back with her. 
Hubby and I love cold peaches with a scoop of vanilla icecream....or a warm cobbler with icecream. 
I do can mine with a light simple syrup...so yummy.
