Thats good to know Pat I was thinking that I would try it for my jams/jelly and such but for pressure canning I was going to look at getting some tattler lids, but the reason I asked in the first place about the wax was I have some old jars that the standard lids don't fit so I was looking for a idea that I could use and use just them for jelly jars and save the others for pressure canning
