honesly id say just give them time, they will eventually adapt each others presence :)

but even cats that like eathoer will often hiss and bat and growl at eachother...
lol, tempi growls and hisses and bopped Willow ALL the time...and there related LOL

If that is the amount of space you have, then what I'd do is rig a bed and food space for each one at opposite ends. Get the pheromone spray (I think it is called DAP) and make sure you feed them often and their favorites, and cross your fingers. I think it is crappy you had to move the second one there, but that is another issue.

I agree. It was only supposed to be temporary-just until we got the fleas under control. But, hubby doesn't want her back home. I swear, at times I think this man really wants me to leave. It's like he does what he can to push me away.

Today was better. Cindy is actually spending more time at the tack shed w/out being in it. And, they didn't spend as much time hissing at each other. In fact, they got fairly close.

But, poor Cindy got a scare. I had Misty and Stormy out so they could graze. I was sitting on an old truck tool box petting Cindy. Stormy came up, and took a sniff of her. I don't think she really appreciated that! :lol:
