None have mine have ever been registered. Papers are overrated IMO. The milk tastes the same ;)

Alrighty then... Maybe I need to find a livestock auction.
Most will disagree but I think it would be a good idea.
I was reading funnyfarm6's post about getting her goats. She got 2 young does and a young buck for $50! That's what I need to find! Now, I am assuming that they are probably not papered, but I'm not sure I need registered goats for my purposes. :hu
I don't know why you would. All it is a paper that makes them cost more........I myself would rather be able sell 5 does for 500$ than 2 for 250$. Then you know your prices are reasonable and they'd be more likely to sell in my opinion.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Milk is milk....

And I agree about Buff being a smart guy! :D

Hey Buffy, do we need to put a sling on your arm? After all, I figure you might have sprained it patting yourself on the back. :plbb :hide

The only reason I got Sugar is because my daughter really wanted a Nubian for showing and breeding. Well, she's lost interest, so Sugar's never been bred. And, I don't know if it would be wise at her age or not. I'm thinking she's at least 6 or 7 now, and Gidget isn't that much younger.
