These are really simple to make.
Melt your chocolate chips....I always put just a little parafin ( gulf wax) in with the chocolate chips.so you can handle them without them melting all over your hands.
Once the chocolate is melted.....dip your cherry....lay it on wax paper...and quickly push the kiss up against it...and slide the ears between the cherry and the hershey kiss. Its better if you get your almonds in a blwl...and set out "matching sets" of ears...ready to slide in. Once the chocolate sets, ( only takes a few seconds) everything willl be "glued" together.
For the eyes, I used iceing in the tubes. Its a Gel icing. Put a dab of white on...give it a few minutes to set....then with a toothpick...add a dot of black. Very simple...I put out 36 of them last night for our family Christmas party....there are 2 little mice left. They were a big hit!
