@murphysranch My crowns are from tooth chipping off from old metal fillings from 65-70 yrs ago 😱. No pain, just a chunk gone that my tongue visits. Annoying. Haven't had a cavity in more yrs than I can remember. 👍

@The Porch I dislike cold weather. But, too much rain out your way for me, too. I love the East Coast 😁

Last night my son up by Saint Louis Missouri told me they got 9 inches of rain Tuesday. Lots of flooding of course and a few people lost their life :( . But not up to 15 inches they recieved in the Missouri ozarks. If it's not to much to ask please join me and say a pray for all impacted by the flooding. Almighty hears our prayers.

Ran 2 miles of barb wire today, starting at sunrise, all 6 of us are whooped. For me I was the spooler, lots climbing up on the tractor, jumping down, swinging 3 lb hammer to drive stapes in RR tie brace posts. I did a little clipping, but not much.

Barb wire will eat you up and not apologize about it. Zero scratches on the bottom of my hands but the top are eaten up. The bottom of my hands are calloused, so they are hard to get scratched.

Yep... I always wore double gloves when working with barbed wire.

Are you fully done? Or is there more to do?

No... but with cattle, is one ever really done with barb wire? It's an honest question lol.

My favorite daughter in law came over and said to me "you're walking a little slow there dad". I said "hard physical work is good for me. It just doesn't feel good right after your done doing it". She just smiled real big. I love it when she smiles and her face lights up like that. So I try and get her to smile with true funny analogies, it works most all the time. When it doesn't work, I say tell me what's on your mind. She does and I do my part to just listen and only answer her truthfully when she asks a question.

But enough of that... after a little rest, i'm staring to feel better already. I just needed some muscle healing time. A nice hot soak in the tub with some epsom salt, will help some also, fixing to do that soon.

Next project it to convert the electric oven to liquid propane. And use the electric oven wire for a generator hookup.

I don't like to have gas joints in the house so i'll run the gas pipe around the foundation of the house and up into the kitchen. More work that way but if the gas were to leak from a joint, at least it wouldn't leak inside the house. I bought the new gas oven when it was on sale. Its been sitting over a month now, I suppose it's about time to hook it up.

I'll be glad when it's in. That means only the clothes drier is left that uses any substantial electricity. I doubt I'll convert that to LP though. There's always the clothes line to dry clothes if we ever needed it and that uses no electic or gas 😀

You all are welcome to come help if you want. Think of the learning opportunities here... learn about gas piping, how to hook up a gas oven and how to wire for a electric generator hook up all at the same time. Wow you may need to buy a bigger hat size when we're done. Because all the knowledge is sure to.make your head grow a little.

P.S. I'm not expecting any volunteers.
