I went to Wallys yesterday afternoon to pick up an Rx and of course, I ALWAYS have to go down the clearance isle.

I bought 51 cans of this Bruce's canned sweet potatoes. Even tho some were marked $1.50, they were all 50 cents!! I'm taking them to the food bank today. I've never seen canned sweet potatoes there in my 13 months of volunteering.

I was so thrilled that the regular checkout person was amazed, and the Asset Protection man was smiling ear to ear!! (I'll bet all he gets are rude people, so I made him happy with my telling him how all we get are beans, beans, beans, pb, and more beans!)

i love beans and sweet potooties. i wish i had some of either of them right now as i could use some kind of food other than what i just ate which won't really stick, but that's ok i'll be sleeping soon.

Hi ya'll we have electric again . After 4 days & 4 1/2 nights on generator. Still froze up soild out there though.

Here is a peach tree picture from the orchard today. And a blade of grass tank brought in.

Got to run to town tomorrow to prepare for snow that is forecast for Friday. Looks like cold is here for a while. But this to shall pass.

Correct that our area is NOT equipped for snow removal -- we seldom get it. And when we do, 4" is a major disaster!

As to hay, I have hay -- just not what they prefer. I need them happy. Have alfalfa pellets. They are just spoiled. I'll call Friday afternoon. They actually had some straight Alf but, so dry I could see stemy and all leaf dry and falling just pulling at pads--still baled! Waste of $$.…..wouldn't buy.

Just came from hot water toting....broke ice . One tub it was 1.5" thick!! Others a little shy of that but, even wind protected ones was an inch. Baby it's cold out there.

Hay ring froze to the ground. I put out a round on the highest part of the pasture. Cattle eat and lay down in the hay. They prefer it like this vers being in the corral.
