I'm going to be brutally honest. Maybe brutally on my self only, but still... I haven't felt this good physically in over a decade. Per my new doctor's recommendation "let's try a prescription reset and preform a baselinen in a month and go from there" 👍

I just had my fasting blood panel this morning and have a doctor's appointment later this week. I can't believe how well I feel physically. It's funny I've been catching my self grunting when I get up from a chair. But there is no need to grunt anymore because it doesn't hurt anymore. I guess old habits die hard.

I was doing pushups last night, my wife said what are you doing? I said rebuilding my upper body strength. She said someone is feeling good 🤣 I said yep you bet I am farm babe 👍

Keep Pushing even when you think your strength is gone, keep pushing, keep pushing on. 👇
this is awesome! glad you are feeling great and no more grunting!

Still catching myself grunting 😂, it's gonna take a while.

The water man came out to read the meter last Friday. Said you guys have used 4000 gallons more than your average. He said make sure all the water is off in the house. So I cut the main off in the basement. Yet the leak indicator was turning on the meter. The leak indicator is a small triangle next to the gallons reading. You don't want to see that thing turning with the water cut off. So today my neighbor and I set out to find the leak in the main line. We probed with a hand probe looking for wet ground. The leak was near the hydrant. So I dug down a good 3 foot of rock and gravel. Replaced the hydrant with a new one and turned the water main back on and yes no more leak 👍. This could have been a new main line but nope just a $70.00 hydrant and less than two hours digging with shovels.

I told my neighbor thank you so much. Every man needs a encouraging wife and granddaughter's, good neighbors and a blessing from Almighty and he's good to go.

I still would have done this work a couple of months ago. But my body would have been screaming in pain at me. But I have no pain and after a shower to get clean, I'm good to go 👍 It feels so good to do some hard work and not be in pain.

Edit...
Another awesome day is coming to a close. I don't know how many more days I have left. But I will try my imperfect best to rejoice and be glad for each remaining one \o/

@CrealCritter That is wonderful on finding the leak and the neighbor helping you to fix it. Good neighbors are a blessing!
Haha on bull snot! :gig:gig:gig

I was going to Groveton this morning, but my truck was making a clunking noise, it made me uneasy. So in the shop it went yesterday. Mechanic just called, a bracket was loose, it was hitting the turbo and making a noise. The fule filter housing was cracked, so they replaced that. I was thinking a front end problem $$$$$ so glad that it was something simple. My car wouldn't start Saturday. I'm so tired of that stupid car. It has an electrical problem, but is not on the recall list, so no free fix. It burnt up the relay switch for the fuel pump, got another one, still finicky about starting. I called Carmax yesterday, they bought it and I left with a down payment for a new car. I could have fixed it with a new fuel pump, filter, etc, but the wiring problem would have still been there and would have cost more money to fix. Fixing a car with parts doesn't bother me, but electrical problems do bother me. It's like trying to capture a ghost. The value would not have gone up one bit, so I decided I was done. Car is gone, I'll buy a new car when I get moved and settled in.

why am I feeling guilty for not hanging out with the chickens at all the last few days? they are pets with a purpose not just pets and it has been SOOO cold out. I have gone out there 2-3 times a day but haven't stayed any longer than to add water and food to their bowls, gather eggs, and turn their bedding. #badcknmama but if they think it has been a rough couple days they should talk to my kids, I literally had to disconnect myself from my family last night just so I could hear myself think. this cold needs to break so we can be outside for more than 20 min at a time.
